Sandro Ego was born in Rome, where he was captivated by musical instruments from a very early age. This passion, though present, remained dormant until the age of 14, when he picked up an electric bass—the instrument he would favour throughout his life.
Collaborating with various rock-pop groups on the city of Rome music scene, Sandro mastered various songwriting and arranging techniques, also composing music for theatrical performances alongside other musicians. His desire to manage every production phase of his tracks led him to experiment with other instruments, including Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums, and eventually to delve into mixing techniques using the earliest DAWs. This latter phase captivated him so profoundly that he dedicated every spare moment to researching ever more creative mixing and sound engineering approaches.
Driven by the desire to discover and experiment with every musical genre, he approached electronic music. This move placed him behind the console, where he began to craft new sounds and innovative ways to entertain audiences. His production focus shifted entirely to the electronic genre, leading him to co-found the NUMA Factory studio with Fabio Angeli. The studio quickly became a vibrant hub where many DJs and musicians, spanning genres beyond electronics, bring their ideas to life.
Today, Sandro boasts an extensive catalog as a ghostwriter for countless national and international tracks and releases.
